🚗 Terms & Conditions – Swift Driver Training

These Terms & Conditions apply to all driving lessons provided by Swift Driver Training. By booking a lesson, you agree to the following:

1. Lessons & Bookings

• Lessons can be booked via the website, phone, or message.

• A lesson is only confirmed once it has been agreed and scheduled.

• Lesson durations will be agreed in advance (e.g. 1 hour, 1.5 hours, other).

2. Payment

• Lessons are charged on a pay-as-you-go basis.

• Payment must be made before or at the start of each lesson, unless otherwise agreed.

• Payments can be made by bank transfer or cash (can preferred if possible)

• Failure to pay may result in future lessons being refused.

3. Cancellations & Notice

• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or rearrange a lesson.

• If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the full lesson fee maybe be charged.

• If you are late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time.

4. Missed Lessons (No-Shows)

• If you do not attend a scheduled lesson, the full lesson fee will be charged.

• Repeated missed lessons may result in refusal of future bookings.

5. Instructor Cancellations

• If your instructor needs to cancel, as much notice as possible will be given.

• The lesson will be rearranged at no extra cost.

6. Pupil Responsibilities

You must:

• Hold a valid UK provisional or full driving licence.

• Meet the legal eyesight requirements. (DVSA Rules)

• Inform your instructor of any medical conditions affecting your driving.

• Wear suitable footwear for driving.

7. Fitness to Drive

• Lessons will not take place if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• If this applies, the lesson will be cancelled and charged in full.

8. Instructor Responsibilities

• Your instructor will be fully qualified or approved by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency.

• Lessons will be conducted safely and professionally.

• The instructor may end a lesson early if safety is compromised.

9. Driving Tests & Use of Instructor’s Vehicle

• Pupils are responsible for booking their own driving test with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency.

• Booking a driving test does not guarantee the use of the instructor’s vehicle.

• The instructor will only allow use of their vehicle for a driving test if:

  • You have reached a suitable test standard, and

  • The instructor confirms you are safe and ready

• The instructor reserves the full right to refuse use of their vehicle for a driving test if they believe:

  • You are not test-ready

  • There are safety concerns

  • You are unlikely to meet the required standard

• This decision is final and made in the interest of safety.

• If permission to use the vehicle is refused:

  • This does not make the instructor liable for any test fees or losses

  • It remains your responsibility to rearrange your test if needed

10. Delays & Traffic

• Lessons may be affected by traffic, weather, or other unforeseen events.

• No liability is accepted for delays outside the instructor’s control.

11. Liability

• You are responsible for your actions while driving.

• Swift Driver Training is not liable for:

  • Driving test changes or cancellations by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency

  • Delays beyond our control

  • Costs resulting from missed lessons

12. Data Protection

• Your personal information is used only for booking and communication.

• It will not be shared without your consent.

13. Changes to Terms

• These Terms may be updated at any time.

• The latest version will always appear on the website.
